Dear colleagues,
please find attached a new job announcement for a position in my group
here in T?bingen.
Summary:
We are looking for a PhD student or Post-Doc. The tasks include:
* improvement of the calibration strategy of an airborne 3D wind
vector measurement system in wind tunnels and in flight
* experimental studies of the interaction between turbulent flow and aircraft
* experimental studies (incl. field campaigns) of the lower atmosphere
using UAV
* teaching bachelor and master students in tutorials and laboratory courses
* performing own research and writing research proposals (Post-Docs only)
The ideal candidate has already experience with:
* atmospheric science or fluid mechanics
* atmospheric and turbulence measurement technology
* airborne measurements and UAV
* boundary-layer meteorology and turbulence theory
