At CEH we currently have a range of Research Associate posts open to people with an MSc/PhD in remote sensing/GIS, unfortunately the deadline is very short, as the closing date is the 2nd August.
Please can you circulate these details to anyone you think may be interested.
At CEH Lancaster we have a vacancy in the Land Use group, which will focus on developing new methods for land cover mapping and land cover change detection:
http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AGY225/research-associates/
CEH Wallingford have a vacancy for a Land Surface Modeller Research Associate (very similar to what Martin de Kauwe was doing).
http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AGY206/research-associates/
CEH Bangor have a vacancy for a GIS modeller: http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AGY240/research-associates/
There are a number of other RA posts available for a range of ecological/hydrological modellers and statisticans, with the full list at: http://www.ceh.ac.uk/personnel/currentvacancies.htm
Any queries about the Lancaster post can be directed to me, Clare Rowland (clro@ceh.ac.uk<mailto:clro@ceh.ac.uk>).
