We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the field
of atmospheric modelling of chemistry and transport of very short-loved
halocarbons (VSLH), as part of a larger NERC consortium project entitled
CAST (Co-ordinated Airborne Studies in the Tropics) led by the
University of Cambridge. The employment period will be for 30 months
from October, 2013.
Based within the School of GeoSciences at the University of Edinburgh,
you will join a team of researchers studying various aspects of
atmospheric composition, including land and ocean surface processes that
help drive observed variability. We explore these themes using in situ
and remotely sensed measurements, computers models, and advanced data
analysis techniques. The principal aim of our research is to gain a
better fundamental understanding of the atmosphere within the context of
the broader Earth system. Our group website: http://www.palmergroup.org.
