We are looking for a researcher with focus on high-latitude land surface modeling at Stockholm University, Department of Applied Environmental
Sciences (ITM) and Bert Bolin Centre for Climate Research. This is a
full-time post-doc position for initially one year with the possibility of one-year extension. The expected
starting date is as soon as possible after agreement.

UVNS Scientific Consultancy
You will be based initially for 1.5 years at our client?s headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. Extension of a further 2 years may be possible. In this large European Agency you will find an excellent and modern working environment with challenging tasks and responsibilities.
Your Tasks Include:
In-house consultancy support is sought for the ongoing scientific activities in preparation for a future UVNS mission to be flown on the Polar System ? Second Generation. The key person will provide support within the Atmospheric Composition Team in the Remote Sensing and Products (RSP) Division. He/she will be fully integrated in the Atmospheric Composition Team and will interface with in-house experts of various disciplines (system, instruments, operations, science), and in particular members of the Post-EPS Science Team within the RSP Division.

The Department of Geography and Regional Studies at the University of
Miami invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in
Environmental Health. Interested candidates should possess research
interests in one or more of the following areas: Environmental
determinants of health and disease, disease ecologies, Land-Use and
Land-Cover Change, landscape epidemiology, emerging and neglected
tropical diseases, spatial dimensions of health disparities and chronic
disease, and health risks and security in vulnerable populations.
Successful candidates will be expected to establish an externally funded
research program and to demonstrate excellence in teaching at the
undergraduate and graduate levels. The position will strengthen global
health research in the College of Arts and Sciences and will contribute
to interdisciplinary programs and research groups including the Program
in International Studies, The Abess Center for Ecosystem Science and
Policy, the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Studies, and the
Miller School of Medicine. He/she will be expected to teach
introductory, upper-level and graduate courses in Geography,
International Studies, and Global Health as well as contribute to our
growing GIS Certificate Programs.

the time of appointment and must submit a curriculum vitae, a maximum of
three sample publications, a statement of interest that outlines her/his
research and teaching philosophy, and the names and addresses of three
