We are looking for a Weather Producer to join us on a fixed-term contract basis, to cover maternity leave. As a Weather Producer, you will help to prepare forecasts and weather information across our multiple platforms - TV, digital and radio. You will interpret weather data; write scripts for television and articles for online; assist weather presenters; commission weather graphics sequences for TV; and prepare TV sequences on related subjects such as pollen, carbon emissions and world weather.
To be considered for this role, we're looking for you to have knowledge of meteorology and an understanding of television production techniques. You'll need to be technically adept, an excellent communicator, and have strong writing and organisation skills.
