Taught Postgraduate studies in Leeds: MRes - Climate and Atmospheric Science.
Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science
School of Earth and Environment
University of Leeds
There are less than two weeks to go before the deadline for our dedicated full fees scholarship (UK/EU only).
The course is specifically designed to provide a springboard for students who are keen to pursue a research-focussed career (usually, but not necessarily a PhD).
Over the years we have had a very high success rate converting students to PhD studies, in fact in the last three years every single student seeking further PhD studies was successful.
For students thinking about a PhD in the future this course provides a route to ensure they give themselves a much stronger chance which it comes to submitting their applications.
We have had students in the past who were unsuccessful in securing a PhD position straight off the back of their undergraduate studies who then received multiple offers upon
applying during the MRes course.
Best regards,
Jim McQuaid
