The Institute of Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences (ACINN) at the
University of Innsbruck (Austria) is seeking a postdoctoral scientists
or a PhD student for an open position in the field of mountain
meteorology and Doppler wind lidar measurements.
The position is funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and the Weiss
Science Foundation through the research project "Penetration and
Interruption of Alpine Foehn (PIANO)". The successful candidate will
plan, conduct and analyse measurements with three Doppler wind lidars
during a field campaign in autumn 2017 in the Inn Valley, Austria.

Postdoctoral Fellow positions in climate research
The Director of the new IBS Center for Climate Physics (ICCP) at Pusan National
University, is seeking to recruit for his research group 8 Postdoctoral Research
Fellows in a variety of fields, including climate dynamics, climate modeling, physical
oceanography, marine biogeochemistry and climate predictability.
Applicants should have a PhD in physical oceanography, atmospheric science,
climate dynamics or a related field. Postdoctoral Fellows are expected to have strong
computational skills, a solid publication record, a high level of independence and
creativity and an interest in working in an international and interdisciplinary
research environment.

Location: Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea
Education Level: PhD
Job type: Postdoctoral Fellow
Salary: 45-50 million KRW/year
Term: Full Time, 2 year, with possibility for renewal
