Dear Colleagues,
We seek to appoint a Sea Ice Modeller at the British Antarctic Survey.
Based in the Polar Oceans programme, the postholder will join a team investigating ocean and ice variability in the Southern and Arctic oceans. The postholder will be responsible for running models of the Southern Ocean and its sea ice in order to study trends in Antarctic sea ice over the last 3 decades. This forms part of a collaborative project between BAS, the National Oceanography Centre - Southampton, and the Met Office. Full details are at:
<http://www.antarctica.ac.uk/employment/vacancies/job.php?tab=1&JobID=866>
This post is available from 1st January 2014. The closing date for applications is 29th September 2013, though I'm very happy to answer informal enquiries before then.
Thanks,
Paul
