Climate analysis and Modeling- Understanding current climate variability (subseasonal to decadal) and long term change- Regional and/or global climate modeling Posting 2. Statistical Climatology- In depth analysis of climate statistics- Improving statistical downscaling techniques of global climate data Posting 3. Agro-meteorology/Agronomy/Plant Science- Experience in development of agro-climatic indices- Experience in environmental (or abiotic) stressors and crop/fruit productivity Job Announcement II: Open Position for International Project ManagerScope of work:Technical aspects:- Develop proposals, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate projects that link climate to societal needs, in cooperation with scientists and other staff- Create project timelines, milestones, and risk management plans to ensure successful project implementation- Organize and coordinate international conferences, seminars, and other events- Write web articles, press releases and other promotional materials - Deliver presentations and represent the APEC Climate Center at APEC Senior Officials?
