Job description :
We're looking for an outstanding computer scientist to provide strategic leadership and build their own internationally excellent research programme in Data Science.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution at a strategic level, to lead computer scientists with varied interests and develop collaborative research with colleagues from a range of disciplines.
You will have:
- An outstanding research record and international reputation
- A track record of research leadership in Data Science and a willingness to lead computer science academics with varied interests
- The skills, interests and disposition to lead and contribute to collaborative research both within the School, across the University more widely
- The ability to contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervision
- Experience, interests and expertise in Data Science that will complement existing research in the School
