* FORECAST MODEL DEVELOPER (M/F) *
EWC Weather Consult offers a broad range of forecast products especially
in the field of renewable energies. You will be part of an
interdisciplinary team being responsible for improving existing tools
as well as for new developments. Your work will be driven by research
questions and the requirements and needs of our customers and partners.
A strong focus will be put on the optimisation of forecast methods by
using heterogeneous observations in statistical methods.
You should have gained experience in working with scientific data sets.
Basic to detailed knowledge of an object oriented programming language
(Python, C++, etc.) is mandatory. A thorough understanding of Linux-OS
and its tools is a plus. Fluency in English and German is necessary.
