Note to subscribers - I did query the last of location and employer-name in this advert and
received this reply:
"We have -very carefully- drafted this advert and the management prefers that no direct information is posted. I can understand that this may be some sort of a challenge; having the said details hidden, but can we please give it a try?"
However, I have no reason to believe the advert to be a hoax.

Role details:
Your main responsibilities being a Meteorological Forecaster will be supervising the operational meteorological Office and Meteorological staff on duty. You will also ensure the efficiency of operations at the Meteorological Office during assigned shifts. The meteorological forecast products produced by you would typically include, but are not limited to, Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts, Local Area Forecasts, Weather Warnings and Flight Information Folder support products. You will be required to respond to customer meteorological forecast enquiries, oversee and produce, when required, any commercial forecast product implemented at the office. You will also be responsible for the followings:
Quality assurance of end line products produced at the meteorological office.
Duties as assigned by a senior or supervisory ANS staff members.
The efficient operations of the office.
The production of aviation forecasts and warnings for all aerodromes under your responsibility.
Production of commercial forecasts and products as required.
To brief, verbally or otherwise, all customers of the office requesting a briefing.
Supervision of the Meteorological Office and staff during all shifts.
The identification and reporting of safety risks in accordance with the Safety Management system.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to produce forecasts and warnings for the organization facilities to support safety and efficiency on those aerodromes; you will also produce your products as required in accordance with national and international standards and regulations. To achieve this, you will be working as part of a team, providing assistance and support to the Senior Meteorological Forecaster. Your work will enable the company to run smooth and efficient operation processes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
You will be a qualified Meteorologist, holding a well recognized Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology or equivalent to that is stipulated in WMO Doc 258, with a proven track of minimum four years experience within a National Weather Service environment. You will demonstrate excellent presentation skills including a high degree of oral and written expression. You will need to be available on short notice and shift based rosters.
