Fugro GEOS has an opening in its consultancy division as a result of increasing workload and strategic growth. The Consultancy team analyses and interprets meteorological and oceanographic (metocean) data and combines knowledge with its specialist expertise to provide the best possible information to clients in the offshore, coastal engineering and renewable energy sectors.
The chosen individual will be a core member of our dynamic consultancy modelling team supporting our global client base. The role would include the following activities:-
Develop regional implementations of WRF
Validate and refine models
Deploy models to support hindcast activity and forecast activity
Publish data sets in standard formats such as those utilised by NCEP/ECMWF
