The Head of Finance will report to the Director of Administration and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance function and the provision of financial data and other information to support decision-making throughout the organisation.
This function will be pivotal in providing financial support to the on-going development of ECMWF and will need to ensure that the ECMWF?s financial processes are fit-for-purpose and in-line with relevant best practice.
The role calls for a finance professional that can work successfully at both operational and strategic levels and will require someone who can balance the need for a hands-on approach with effective delegation to a well-developed team.
