Dear colleagues,

This is to draw your attention to a post-doc position available at CNRM
(Meteo-France, Toulouse) for 18 months, in the scope of the Copernicus
C3S program seasonal forecasting component
(<http://climate.copernicus.eu/>).

Meteo-France contributes to a multi-model seasonal forecast system by
the production of seasonal forecast data with its global coupled model
CNRM-CM. Within the project, CNRM will prepare a new version of its
seasonal forecast model to be used in a pre-operational phase, assess
its quality and skill, and explore new ways to further improve the
forecasts. In this framework, the successful applicant will document and
analyse the improvements in CNRM-CM seasonal forecasts due to increasing
the horizontal resolution in the ocean to a quarter-degree and vertical
resolution in the atmosphere from 91 to 137 levels with a better
resolved stratosphere.

For more information on this position, requirements and the application
procedure please visit the CNRM job opportunities website, item 'PostDoc
C3S project': <http://www.cnrm-game-meteo.fr/spip.php?rubrique57>
Deadline for applications is May 25th 2016.

Should you need any further information, please contact Michel Deque
(<michel.deque@meteo.fr>) and Jean-Francois Gueremy
(<jean-francois.gueremy@meteo.fr>).
